JADE MARKET TOUR Map
Only 10 minutes walk from the hotel, the Jade Market showcases over 400 stalls, offering a wide range of jade pendants, rings, bracelets, carvings and ornaments. Close to Jade Market, there are many other jade shops along the nearby Canton Road, making it known locally as “Jade Street”.

TEMPLE STREET Map

KOWLOON PARK Map
Kowloon Park has a total area of 13.3 hectares, offering a full range of active and passive recreational facilities to the public. Kowloon Park is renowned for its Bird Lake, which supports a total of over 200 birds of around 18 different species. The Aviary is comprised of 7 planted enclosures, which are decorated with artificial rockeries and waterfalls, accommodate over 100 birds of 29 species. Another attraction is the 1900 square metres Sculpture Walk, which is a landscaped area for permanent or temporary display of sculptures made by local and overseas artists.

THE BIG BUDDHA Map
Located on the hills opposite Po Lin Monastery in Lantau Island, the Big Buddha statue is one of the city’s most impressive sightseeing spots. Weighing over 250 tons, the statue is the biggest, bronze, seated Buddha in the world and one of the world’s top ten Buddha statues by scale. The Buddha sits 26.4 metres atop a lotus throne and is 34 metres high in total, faces north towards Mainland China.

How to get there
Take the Ngong Ping Cable Car or Lantau Bus No. 23 from Tung Chung MTR Station and then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the Monastery at the hill.
To enjoy the pleasure of hiking and admire the superb natural scenery, you can also walk up the hill to the Big Buddha.
Simply join the Guided Tours to the Outlying Islands and the Big Buddha.





HIKING TRAILS
THE DRAGON’S BACK Map
Dragon’s Back was voted the “Best Urban Hiking Trail” in Asia by Time (Asia edition) in 2004. The Dragon's Back is a path connecting Wan Cham Shan and Shek O Peak, stretching vertically over D'Aguilar Peninsula. The path undulates between these hill tops, reminiscent of the shape of a dragon’s backbone. Just a short hop from the bustle of Hong Kong East, it provides stunning views of Shek O, Tai Long Wan, Stanley, Tai Tam and the South China Sea.
