Among thousands kinds of palatable Chinese cuisine, 24 solar terms dietary represents the reflection between nature and human beings and is well-known for its therapeutic functionality through daily diet. This concept perfectly matches the concept of “Angel’s Natural Diet” debuted by Dr Angel Tong – avoid eating meat and carbohydrates in the same meal. By doing this, it can minimise the difference between acid and alkaline so as to lessen the burden of the stomach and the spleen. This concept is also being recognised and it is believed that “Angel’s Natural Diet” can make one be healthier and prettier.

Marinated Sliced Bitter Melon with Garlic Paste
Inspired by one of the famous Shanghainese appetisers – Sliced Pork with Garlic and Chilli Paste, Yat Tung Heen culinary team marinates the young bitter melon with garlic paste to accelerate the original flavor and bitterness can be barely tasted to chill you out.
Charming Tip: Bitter melon – the best appetiser in summer without a doubt– merely contains fat and protein with low calorie but it is rich in potassium, vitamin C and folic acid which can relieve human tiredness.

Cucumber rolled with Turnip, Beancurd Sheet and Celery with Mustard Sauce
Another refreshing treat this summer! Cucumber, shredded turnip, vegetarian chicken and celery wrap in a beancurd sheet foaming a “rainbow” roll.
Charming Tip: Cucumber contains more than 90% of water and is one of the most nutritious vegetables. It is rich in protein, calcium, phosphorous, iron, vitamin A & C as well as amino acid which can detoxify human.


Double-boiled Sea Whelks with Dried Conpoy, Winter Melon, Snow Fungi and American Ginseng in Soup

Sautéed Baby Lobster with Bean Sprouts, Eggs and Pomelo
