Qu Guang Ci is a renowned contemporary Chinese sculptor who was born in Shanghai in 1969 before graduating from the China Central Academy of Fine Arts Sculpture. Before founding his own sculpture studio with his counterparts in 2007, he held a teaching position at the University. Qu soon attracted widespread attention for his work and in particular for his most well-known series “Little Fatty”. 

1969年出生于上海的瞿广慈是知名当代中国雕塑家，毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系。于2007年以前，瞿广慈于大学任教，其后，他与其他雕塑家一同组成雕塑工作室，开始创作具独特性的雕塑，当中最引起广泛关注的系列为《小胖人》。

Series name 系列名称 : Little Fatty 小胖人

Each of these bronze sculptures features a fat body holding a gun towards outsiders; demonstrating what Qu had experienced during the Cold War period. To Qu, the bronze sculptures are his language and express his point of view on the political environment at that time.

在《小胖人》系列中的《铁三角》，每一个铜制「小胖人」手中皆持一把向外的手枪，此举动充分显示了瞿广慈于冷战期间的亲身经历，对于瞿广慈，他的雕塑是为他发声的渠道，表现他的政治见解。
