Chen Wenling graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and is now one of the top ten contemporary sculptors in the World. Over the last 23 years, Chen has showcased his masterpieces at more than 20 exhibitions locally and internationally. His most renowned collections include “Red Memory”, “Happy Life” and “China Scene”. Chen conveys his perspective by using the facial expressions and gestures of his sculptures.

陈文令毕业于北京中央美术学院，是现今全球十大当代著名雕刻家之一。在过去二十三年期间，他于国内及国外城市举办了多于二十场的展览，展示其具独特性的雕塑。陈文令善以透过雕塑的面部表情及肢体动作表达他的观点，当中以《红色记忆》、《幸福生活》及《中国风景》最为人熟悉。

“I want to challenge the extremes in both work and life.” said Chen.

This collection is composed of a group of naked and innocent red boys creating a strong visual impact and challenging normal thinking on sculptures. Through these pieces, Chen explores the different mentalities of living in modern society and examines the direct links between nature, society and individuals.

《红色记忆》系列以一群天真无邪的裸体「红孩儿」作为主体，冲击大众对雕塑的传统认知，并且带来新的视觉感受，陈文令曾在访问中透露:「我喜欢工作及生活上的挑战。」，充分的表达了陈文令创作这一系列雕塑的原因。陈文令亦透过这些红孩唤起成年人对现实社会的反思及探讨了现实社会和人与人之人间的关系。
